As a recent customer of Cool Window Tinting, I dont think I could be more pleased with the work and friendly service.
Now, 72 hours after completion, the tinting has cured and looks fabulous.
However the most satisfying part about the experience was doing business with Mike, the owner of Cool Window Tinting.
He is a professional in the highest sense of the word and customer satisfaction is clearly his priority.
Mike made us feel at home, and his work is guaranteed for three years.

I have had work done in Mike`s shop on 3 occasions and have been completely satisfied with his work.
If not for his work on my classic 1971 Chevy stepside truck,I would not have returned to his shop.
The "71" windows look as good today as they did 10 years ago when Mike installed the tinting.
Since that time I have had 2 additional trucks done and just completed having my new 5th Wheel trailer`s
back picture window and adjoining side widows tinted with the complete satisfaction of not only me but the
ultimate satisfaction of my wife.
I have been highly satisfied with Mike`s work,dedication,and his desire to meet the needs of his customers.

My husband and I just recently got our cars done by mike.
I drive a 2009 Lancer Gts and my husband drives a 2010 Mustang gt.
It was not an easy job and he did such an awesome job!!!
His customer service is awesome and his shop is absoutely SO clean!!!
We loved doing business with him and will refer all of our friends to get their windows tinted by him!!!
Great Window Tinting Service

I brought my 2010 Subaru WRX to cool window tinting to get all the windows tinted.
Once the owner saw the car he gave me a reasonable cost estimate that he stuck with.
It only took him about 4 hours to do all the windows and he took the panels off to get the entire window.
The owner is very friendly and knows what he is doing.
I went in the shop was offered some refreshments and could watch him work and ask him questions while he did.
The owner keeps his shop very organized and clean and along the walls he's got pictures of all the cars he's done.
He gave me a 3 year warranty for all his work.
The owner seems to care a lot about the customer and says if I have a problem all I have to do is call and
he'll take care of it at my convenience.

I brought my car in an he got straight to work.

I took my sons new 2010 Dodge Challenger to have tinted when I called mike requested to meet me I knew exactly
why he did he is profectionist and costomers can be rude and unworthy of a persons time when very inexperienced.
I love the quality of work done and when my son seen his car done he was really happy with the work done..

Mike has the best shop its very clean he did my car 5 years ago (and the tint look as good as the day he did it)
and will allways tint my car window i have been to other shops before Cool Window Tinting and the work at the
other place where never as good or as clean and he does not take short cuts like other places do and have.
This is the only place i would bring my car,And why would you want a randum estament over the phone,I want sone
one to see my car first before getting a estament.

If you have been into Mike's shop lately you may have seen a Orange 72" Chevelle. The tint speaks for itself. Mind blowing. I cannot say what anyone else has already said. If you want to get your windows tinted Mike is the man to see.

Mike did a great job on my 08' Silverado. Here are the facts: Mike stands by his work, which is why he provides a warranty. Mike didn't want me leaving the shop until I was satisfied with the job, and while my tint settles over the next 3 days, I know if I have a concern he will do whatever is necessary to make me happy. Mike did sound a little grumpy over the phone, but when you take your vehicle into his shop you will realize that he is a great guy! He even let me hang out in the shop, let me sit down on the couch and watch a movie while he was meticulously tinting every piece of my window, removing panels and all. The guy even offered me a drink. He respects military, fire and police and might even cut you a special rate. Anyone who bashes this guy probably works for a different shop. Can't say enough good things about him and I will certainly recommend this guy to everyone I know. The guy's been doing this for 30 years, and he's got hundreds of pictures of all of the rides he's done lining the shop walls to prove that he's experienced. Great job Mike!

I had Mike tint my Black 2004 M3 about 5 months ago. The quality of the job is great and I have had no problems since. The tint job looks nearly stock on a car that can be very difficult to tint. Mike took extra time to go over options and details with me and even did some custom work. He went above and beyond as far as accommodating my work schedule. You may pay a bit more with Mike, but you'll get someone who actually cares about his work and craftsmanship. He's more picky than you are, I promise.

Mike did an amazing job on my 2010 Genesis Coupe. He has great attention to detail and will settle for nothing less than a perfect job. He continually made sure to keep me informed as he was working on things to make sure that I was happy. The end result: an awesome tint job and a great customer service experience. To top it all off, Mike is just a cool guy :)

I first came to Cool Window Tinting 15 years ago, same location, same phone number. Businesses stay open for this long for a reason. I keep coming back because I know Mike has the experience and skills to get the job done perfect and will not settle for anything less. How nice would it be if every time you get work done on your car you got to meet the mechanic and inspect the shop before having anything done. At Cool window tinting this is exactly what you get. Take the advice from me and the dozens of other satisfied customers. Don't settle for nothing less than the best.

Michael did an awesome job on my '02 Acura TL. It's a tough one to do as it has 7 windows total (inc. 2 small ones), but he did it. He uses charcoal tint only, not like most shops that do the job for under $150 because they use chrome tint which is illegal, cheap, and last under 2 years. He even offered me drink and food while I waited in his clean shop.
A First Class Tinting Job

We had just purchased a 2010 Prius and wanted a first class tinting job. The Prius has a lot of glass, nine windows in all, so we began looking for a real professional. After several weeks of research we were pleased to learn that Cool Window Tinting had excellent references. When we visited Cool Window Tinting and began talking to Michael Garcia we knew our Prius wold be treated with the best of care. In addition, Michael's shop is like walking into a scientific "clean room", a bit spartan, except for the hundreds of photos of the cars, whose windows he has tinted. During the tinting process Michael took before and after photos of the car and photos with the door panels removed which facilitated the tinting process. Upon completion, he then presented us with the camera's memory card with the photos he had taken. We are totally pleased with the whole tinting experience at Cool Window Tinting.

Meticulous and fair priced. Don't bother with the 'el cheapos'. Michael does it right for a fair price. What ever you might save elsewhere aint worth it. I've now had Michael tint two cars for me. I am very satisfied.

I have a BMW 745i that is pristine. As such, I wanted a tint job that was perfect.
Mike's staff was incredibly professional and took their time on my car.
BMW's are not easy cars to work with, but Mike and his team handled it with class and ease.

Just did my 2009 Lexus GS 450h. I must say not only is it perfect in every way, Mike and his helper Mike,
are not only very personable, but very honest to do business with.
Mike took his time to on what was a very complicated car to do.
I looked around for the right guy to do my car for a while, Last thing I wanted on a $60K car is cheap looking
window tint with gaps all around the windows,it was very important to me that the car looked like it came from
the factory tinted. That is exactly what I got. He spent most of the day on the car and was very meticulous,
re-did a couple of windows a few times because he was not happy with it yet.
When I showed up, MY only question was (are you happy with the car Mike?) knowing if he is happy, I knew the car
would be perfect! Here's to you my friend! thank you! worth every penny.

Mike did a great job (PERFECT!) on my '08 H3. He was very courteous and helpful throughout the whole process.
His shop is the cleanest that I have ever seen! Mike invited me to join him so that I could learn about my vehicle.
If you know anything about most shops, the owners almost NEVER let you work with them.
For Mike to open his shop for a novice is AMAZING and very educational!
I do not understand the previous review (Mark- Mar 23, 2010).
I like to meet the people who are going to work on my vehicle face to face.
The other shops that I visited were not half as clean as Mike's shop.
In my experience, you have to have a clean shop to do a good job with tint.
Other shops were tinting cars OUTSIDE!
I do not trust a quote over the phone, as things can change when installing anything aftermarket on your vehicle.
I would recommend Mike to anyone who wants to have their windows tinted!

Mike at Cool Window Tinting was "Top Notch".
When I called just to get a quote on tinting the windows on my new Tundra he immediatly asked me to bring it in and said that he had time to get it done.
After arriving at the shop I was greeting by Mike who was extremely cheerful and very helpful at explaining the tinting process.
His shop has state of the art cleanlyness, and he has tons of photos to prove his outstanding work.
As a current military member, and him being a previous military member, it was fun to share stories as he miticuliosly worked on my new truck.
If you are looking for someone to do an excellent job tinting the windows on your vehicle than I definitley would recommend Cool Window Tinting.

What are we all looking for when we need a job done. Honesty, professionalism and pride in workmanship. Mike at Cool Window Tinting exhibits all three of these attributes. Just bought my car, one I plan on keeping for quite a while so I wanted the best job done on my windows. Mike took the time to answer all of my questions until I was satisfied. Assured me that even though he takes off the door panels to do the tinting everything would be as I left it and it was. Tint job is perfect no complaints at all. Mike assured me if there were any problems he would make it right. I have no reason to dought him. His shop is immaculate with everything he needs to do a quality job. I just got my car back from Mike today and OMG!!! i was sooo nervous about getting my Audi A4 tinted because i know its a difficult car to work on, but after talking to Mike on the phone i was instantly put as ease and i knew he would take great care of my car. Taking great care of my car is an understatement. He treated my car like it was the only one on the planet that mattered. He put so much time and effort into making my car pefect for me and he exceeded my expectations. Long story short i saw my car and burst into tears...it was GORGEOUS!! Don't waste your time looking at other shops - don't fall for the trap of a cheap quote only to find add-on costs once you get there. Take your car to Mike and you'll be completely thrilled with the results. He's super meticulous about his work and takes every precaution to make sure the job is done right. Go in and see Mike for a quote. You will not get a better BANG for your BUCK in town. Mike did the first car for me back in 1993, a hatchback Corsica with a compound bow back window. He proved to me on that one to not even try anywhere else. He has since done about a half dozen more cars for me personally, and I have directed many people in his direction when asked about window tinting. You will not find a more professional job around. I was searching around for a window tinter for my car. I was skeptical about going to just anyone so I decided to do some research and I found out that Mike (the owner) had these fabulous reviews. When I went in the shop it was very clean and organized and Mike was very friendly and gave me some information on his technique of applying a tint to a vehicle. This is great because you shouldn't just drop off your car and not know what is going to happen to it. Plus his years in the business sold me which was reflective in his knowledge of his work. Overall, I was highly satisfied with the service I received. I have already started recommending his business to friends and family! Know that Mike likes to see your vehicle first before discussing any pricing. Don't hesitate to take your business here for 1 second!

Like anyone who wants to get their windows tinted, I looked around online to see who had the best reviews, and who's prices were reasonable, after checking out Cool Window Tinting off of Steilacoom Blvd, I decided to go down to the store to get a quote on getting my drivers side window and pass. window tinted on my Camaro. First off Mike greeted me with a smile and asked how he could help. I explained, he looked at my car, and said we could do it right now for a great price so I said ok. I could have just sat there and waited on him to finish but since I'ma car guy and am in the business I wanted to help. so together we tore off the old tint, prepared the new stuff and just chit chatted back and forth, He is such a nice guy and explained to me he has been doing this for over 15 years, and all the pictures of customers cars on the wall proved that to be very true. Together we finished in less than 75 min. When we were done, the tint came out better than i thought it would and he gave me an amazing deal for it. Now everyone has to remember that you get what you pay for!! If you go with the cheapest out there - thats what you will get!! his prices were very competitive and that fact that he let me help, and how time flew by as we were just shootin the sh*t and talkin, was great. And as i was leaving, he also gave me an extra coupon he had for a free oil change! If you need to get your windows tinted... GO TO MIKE AT COOL WINDOW TINTING! And, he even called me the very next day to tell me to make sure my car was in the sun (it was very warm and sunny out) as it would help it cure and set faster! Now that is going ABOVE AND BEYOND. I guarantee no one else anywhere would do THAT!

I've had several of my cars and trucks tinted by Mike @ Cool Window Tinting. All have been professionally done and I was pleased with his work. I referred several friends and neighbors that have also been satisfied. Just today, two friends working on my neighbors house came over to me while I had the garage open and asked me who did the tinting on my vehicles. They were impressed with quality and fine detail. Mike's prices are resonable for the quality of the tint that will last for years. Don't like his prices, go somewhere else get that tint you see all around town that bubbles and has air pockets. Those people got exactly what they paid for, a shotty job at a cheap price. I proudly have the cool window emblems displayed on my vehicles, because I want people to know where to get a good quality tint job and believe me they do ask.

Please disregard the negative reviews below from the lazy morons that don't understand how customer service works. Mike does EXCELLENT work and won't necessarily quote a price over the phone simply because every vehicle is different. You wouldn't want an over the phone estimate from a body shop after you get into an accident, would you? Not all tint jobs are created equal. Very few installers will take the time to remove your door panels to ensure that the tint never comes off. He treated my truck as if it was his own and I am VERY satisfied with the results. I had originally tried to save a few bucks by taking my truck to the lowest bidder, and I ended up very disappointed. The headliner was damaged in my brand-new $50k truck, not to mention that lint was left behind the tint film tha left bubbles behind. Bottom line: you get what you pay for. While Mike might not have the absolute lowest price in town, the differnence in the level of craftsmanship ...

Mike was very professional. Two years ago I had a car done by him and he did such an amazing job I sent all my friends to him and I just bought a new car and took that car to him as well. I got nothing but professionalism I recommend Cool Window Tinting to any person who wants top notch tinting. But instead of being "that guy" over the phone you need to bring your car in so he can see the make and model in order to do a accurate quote.

Mike is a great guy. I went by his shop Thursday 19 Mar 09. He was so pleasant to talk to. He bent over backward to explain the quallity of work he does. His shop was really neat and clean. I dropped the car off yesterday and when I picked up the car that afternoon I was so pleased with what Mike had done. His work is top notch. I recommend Mike to anyone that wants good work done. The reason why he doesn't want to give you a quote over the phone is because he needs to see what type of car you have. Kudos to Mike.....Job well done......... Get your window tinted by Mike. If you want your windows tinted with quality tint, and want them to keep looking good for a long, long time- you absolutely have to go see Mike. I didn't know where to go to have my husbands windows tinted for him while he was away- so I fell back to google and found this place. I called and- yes, like the other reviews say he isn't apt to give an estimate over the phone.. but if you notice, any car/auto place thats worth its salt won't give you one either! The reason is simple, and he EXPLAINS to you that he would much rather see you in person, and look at your car and talk to you one-on-one before giving you a price. Makes sense to me! Anyway, I went on down to the shop which is THE cleanest shop I've ever been in- and talked to him about my windows. He answered every question I had before I even had to ask it. He then proceeded to do such an amazing job. My husbands car is a trans am- that back window is so curved, yet it is FLAWLESS. The title says it all. The tinting on my vehicle looks great. I would not go any other tinting place, especially those half assing chinese. Mike takes the door panels off and tints the little area of the window that you can't see when it's rolled up. This ensures that your tint never peels or bubbles. He also has a warranty. I highly reccomend you go in and get an estimate or at least watch the video he has that will explain the outstanding quality. You'll see.
